This is probably a long shot, but I'm going to take it. The Log gets over three hundred hits a day now, so who knows?
To the person driving the red BMW with the officer sticker who parked next to me at the exchange yesterday;
We have been wronged, and we shall be avenged! But I'm getting ahead of myself.
Wow, a beemer! That's way more that I can afford; all I've got is a little black Honda. I have to live in the barracks, so I don't have a lot to my name besides my car. But I'm sure you love your car just as much as I love mine, so I'm guessing you'll understand how upset I was to come back and find a huge new dent in my door. Since there were red paint chips in it, I might have immediately suspected you, but not to worry! A friend from my boat happened to see the whole sordid affair, and quickly set me straight.
It appears that the same loser who thoughtlessly dinged my door was the very same person who took a brand new 9" Stanley crescent wrench with a yellow rubber handle and broke both your headlights! I understand the rage and frustration you must have felt to come back from your latte or whatever and find your car violated in such a manner; remember, my car was assaulted as well.
I would have stuck around to tell you in person, but I was late getting back from lunch and had to hurry so I wouldn't miss any of the afternoon field day. I'm sure you understand. Well, maybe you don't, but just ask any of the people who work for you - I'm positive they will.
So what's our next step? I think we should team up and hunt down the perpetrators; anyone who would knowingly trash another man's car and go off on their way like nothing happened deserves a little payback. You should contact me immediately so the hunt can begin!
Yours in peace,
~Free The Nucs
